Delete your account

Delete in the app

1. Open Mettle and sign in.
2. Open your profile, then Settings.
3. Choose “Delete account.”
4. Read the warning and confirm deletion.

The app signs you out when deletion finishes.

Request deletion from the web

Email us from the address used for your Mettle account. Use the subject “Mettle account deletion request” and include your public user name. We may ask you to verify control of the account before we delete it.

We will complete a verified web request within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What we delete

• Your Mettle account, email address, and saved sessions.
• Your Mettle profile and public user name.
• Your answers, scores, play history, progress, and leaderboard entries.
• Round feedback linked to your account.

Delete Mettle data on Reddit

1. Open Mettle in Reddit.
2. Open your profile.
3. Choose “Delete my Mettle data” and confirm.

This removes your saved Mettle answers, scores, progress, badges, feedback, leaderboard entries, and Mettle’s links to your score posts and comments. It does not delete posts or comments held by Reddit. Delete those with Reddit’s controls.

What may remain

We may keep limited security logs, support messages, backups, or records that law requires for a reasonable period. We may keep data that no longer identifies or links to you. Information stored only on your device may remain until you clear the app’s data or remove the app.
